Wonder where we’re getting all of our glitz and glam from for the Summer Spaaah Series? Well here’s your answer — the Valley-based (and fabulous!) Ganem Jewelers. Here’s a snapshot of the company and a few reasons why we’re such fans!
It all started in 1982 when George Ganem, a certified graduate gemologist, opened a jewelry legend in the East Valley. Founder of Ganem Jewelers, he opened his first store in Tempe, Arizona, with 2,000 square feet of jewelry and timepieces.
While the original Tempe store no longer stands, it has been replaced by a 4,000 square foot location at Chauncey Ranch, providing sparkling gems to northeast Phoenix and Scottsdale. Ganem Jewelers is now known and appreciated throughout the Valley as a family-owned, high-quality jewelry provider. A few luxury brands sold at Ganem locations include Cartier, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Honora, Bixby and Scott Kay.
Ganem Jewelers is also a philanthropic organization and highly motivated to give back throughout the community. Ganem has been hugely generous in donations for Summer Spaaah Series, with pieces worth at least $1,000 donated to each of the seven events! These pieces have all been contributed to the raffle, which provides 100% of proceeds to Fresh Start Woman’s Foundation.
Plus, guests attending the events also receive a $100 Ganem Jewelers gift certificates in their gift bags.
Scott Kay is the featured designer of all Summer Spaaah Series donated jewelry. Kay never had aspirations of jewelry design during his jock childhood, but apparently developed a passion for it after retooling a lug nut found on the street into a ring. Now, many years later, his jewelry is showcased at retail locations throughout the world.
