Arizona Biltmore Spa Event: July 27, 2012

Our fifth stop of Summer Spaaah Series 2012 took us to the pristine and historical grounds of the Arizona Biltmore Resort in Phoenix. The Arizona Biltmore Spa is home to a cozy salon, classic spa and a fitness center decked out with brand new equipment. Red Door Spa at The Wigwam Event: July 13, 2012

Hold on to your hair ties Spa Girls, we’ve stumbled across a revolutionary hair product that’s going to rock your summer! Redken has taken color protection and styling gel to a new level with Redken duo shield 07 color protecting gel-cream.

This multitasking product helps preserve vibrancy while strengthening colored hair for a stress-free blow dry with radiant style. At last, the agonizing wait for a product that protects your freshly colored tresses, while taming frizz, is over!

The first thing you’ll notice about Redken duo shield 07 color protecting gel-cream is the unique package design. It is a squeezable tube within a tube so the two products don’t mix until you want them to. (And the packaging is pink, which is super cute!) A nourishing pearl cream and a ceramide-rich fixing gel fuse together in a  formula that protects while shaping and sculpting hair. The product dispenses evenly, so you don’t deal with any messy clumps.

To use it, just wash and condition your hair as you normally would and apply the gel-cream to towel-dried damp hair before you blow dry it. You’ll notice a floral fruity scent, thanks to cranberry oil that doubles as a conditioner. Blow dry your hair as usual.
