Sponsor Feature: Ganem Jewelers is a Valley Gem

June 21, 2010 by azspagirls Leave a Comment

Wonder where we’re getting all of our glitz and glam from for the Summer Spaaah Series? Well here’s your answer — the Valley-based (and fabulous!) Ganem Jewelers. Here’s a snapshot of the company and a few reasons why we’re such fans!

It all started in 1982 when George Ganem, a certified graduate gemologist, opened a jewelry legend in the East Valley. Founder of Ganem Jewelers, he opened his first store in Tempe, Arizona, with 2,000 square feet of jewelry and timepieces.

While the original Tempe store no longer stands, it has been replaced by a 4,000 square foot location at Chauncey Ranch, providing sparkling gems to northeast Phoenix and Scottsdale. Ganem Jewelers is now known and appreciated throughout the Valley as a family-owned, high-quality jewelry provider. A few luxury brands sold at Ganem locations include Cartier, Breitling, Tag Heuer, Honora, Bixby and Scott Kay.

Ganem Jewelers is also a philanthropic organization and highly motivated to give back throughout the community. Ganem has been hugely generous in donations for Summer Spaaah Series, with pieces worth at least $1,000 donated to each of the seven events! These pieces have all been contributed to the raffle, which provides 100% of proceeds to Fresh Start Woman’s Foundation.

Plus, guests attending the events also receive a $100 Ganem Jewelers gift certificates in their gift bags.

Scott Kay is the featured designer of all Summer Spaaah Series donated jewelry. Kay never had aspirations of jewelry design during his jock childhood, but apparently developed a passion for it after retooling a lug nut found on the street into a ring. Now, many years later, his jewelry is showcased at retail locations throughout the world.

To purchase Scott Kay jewelry as well as other high-quality jewelry, visit one of the two Ganem Jewelers locations in Ahwatukee or Scottsdale.

Ahwatukee Location
3602 E. Ray Road
Phoenix, AZ, 85044

Scottsdale Location

Spa Avania at the Hyatt Regency Event Photos: June 4, 2010

What a night! More than 150 spa enthusiasts joined us for an unforgettable evening at Hyatt Regency’s Spa Avania. We were privileged to have James Pearson, founder of Acholi Beads, enlighten us on the empowerment handmade jewelry can bring to the people of Uganda. We also were honored by the presence of esteemed author of “The Zen Book” and the Zen Cards as well as founder of ZENSei clothing Daniel Levin. Huckleberry cocktails from 44 Degrees North Vodka kept us cool while tastes of Silver Oak Cellars wines whet our palates. A special thanks to the exquisite staff and therapists at Hyatt Regency Scottsdale’s Spa Avania for hosting an unforgettable evening and helping us raise funds Fresh Start Women’s Foundation! Sponsor Feature: NailEZEE Advanced Nail Growth Systems

May 28, 2010 by azspagirls Leave a Comment

Ryan, Jordan and Erin Wolf accurately refer to themselves as the “tough-as-nails-girls,” and we couldn’t agree more!  Current beauty and brains behind NailEZEE nail care products, these gals exemplify the meaning of loving what you do.

As most young girls do, these three sisters had a passion for nail care with everything from polka dots to crystals. Their father taught them the real damage that acrylic nails can cause.  He wanted to be able to extend this knowledge to all women, as he had full faith in the possibility of beautiful, healthy nails.

From this, NailEZEE was born. NailEZEE provides an easy way to grow natural nails using a special combination of proteins and vitamins. The product line is offered in three different formulas: “Toughen Up,” “Stay Strong,” and “Re.Boot.” Each formula is representative of one of the sisters, both in nail type and branding.

Toughen Up – the purple product, is for thin, weak, nails, much like oldest sister Ryan had.  Biotin, Keratin, and Vitamin A help to grow your nails and to restore their natural health and beauty.

Stay Strong – the pink product, provides maintenance for flexible, strong nails. The middle child in the family, Erin, had very healthy nails but she needed help maintaining them. This product is for women like her.

Re.Boot – the green product, is a revitalizing formula for brittle, dry nails, much like the youngest sister Erin’s. Re.Boot prevents ridging and dryness, and promotes moisture balance in the driest of nails.

Whatever your nail challenge, NailEZEE has the cure, and with such inspirational branding and names, we are positive that they can fix up your manicure, and perk up your attitude a bit at the same time.

NailEZEE products are exclusive to spas and salons. For more info visit, www.nailezee.com.
